Marguerite Fay Gosney

Marguerite Fay Gosney, 96, of Goldendale, died Feb. 3, 2009, at Rosemont Assisted Living Center in Yelm.

She was born Aug. 17, 1912, in Goldendale, to Ida Mae and John Henry Gosney.

Fay worked for Drs. West, Davies, and Wolford, dentists, before working as a receptionist at the Goldendale Medical Center. Later she worked at the Goldendale Bakery. Her favorite hobby was shopping, although she did some ceramics earlier.

She was a member of the goldendale United Methodist Church and Leah Rebekah Lodge 22.

Survivors include a cousin, Lucille Groves, of Beaverton; two nephews, Ray I. Gosney, of Goldendale, and Edward G. Gosney, of Yelm. Graveside services will be held at Mt. View IOOF Cemetery later in the spring.
