Adeline Augusta [Reimer] Schultz Howe

Adeline [Reimer] Schultz Howe was born in Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1872 at the age of 16 (with her parents), and settled in Chicago.

(According to the Cook County, Illinois, Marriages Index 1871-1920) Adeline Riemer married Hermann Schultz on October 14, 1882 in Chicago, Illinois. The Schultz family homesteaded in Washington Territory on the Camas Prairie. Their daughter Thusnelda Cornelia was born in 1892. (Thusnelda was known to everyone as Nelda, and she married Ferdinand Markgraf on June 21, 1939 in Klickitat County.)

Adeline married again on November 30, 1904 in Glenwood, Klickitat, WA to Jacob Howe.

On the 7th of February 1948, Adeline passed away at her daughter Nelda's home in Glenwood, Klickitat, WA. Adeline, along with her first husband Herman Schultz and her second husband Jacob Howe, and her daughter Nelda Markgraf are all buried in the Mount Adams Cemetery.
