Sadie Belle Ferguson
"Sadie Ferguson, 67, long time resident of Bickleton, died Sunday, April 27, at the Virginia Mason Clinic in Seattle.
She was born May 24, 1918 at Danville, Wash., the daughter of Ray and Clara Rusho. She attended Yakima High School, graduating in 1936. She later moved to Toppenish,
where she worked at J.C. Penney Company for eight years.
She married Ranald Ferguson June 20, 1954 and together they made their home in Bickleton where they participated in the family ranching operation for 32 years.
She took an active interest in community affairs and was a member of the Bickleton Presbyterian Church, the Alder Rebekah Lodge No. 80, the Alder Creek Grange No. 890 and the Pioneer Association.
She is survived by her husband, Ranald Ferguson of Bickleton; two sons, Gerald Parlet of Annandale, Va. and Ronald Parlet of Kennewick; one sister, Jean Boyd of Yakima; three grandchildren
and a number of nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 1 at the Bickleton Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Bickleton IOOF Cemetery under the direction of the
Smith Funeral Home of Sunnyside."
