Ah Chung Finally Comes to Grief After Many Escapes.

Ah Chung, the star chicken thief of Seattle, and who was tried for murder at Port Townsend a few years ago, had no defense yesterday when tried in the municipal court for stealing Mrs. Lumpf's chickens a few nights ago. The proof was conclusive and Judge Glasgow sent him to the county jail for three months. Ah Charley, who was captured with Ah Chung, was discharged. Ah Chung is the same Chinaman who was arrested sometime ago with forty chickens in his possession. No one claimed them so he walked out of jail with the chickens and his usual bland smile.
