ELLIS:
Seek info on Isaac Daniel ELLIS, 1846-1930, a native of Hendricks Co., IN who married Jane BRUSH in Jackson Co., IA in 1870 and was living in Ocosta, Grays Harbor Co., WA as early as 1910. She reportedly died three years later, and both are said to be buried in Fern Hill Cemetery. Isaac's brothers, John O. and William A. ELLIS were Alaska pioneers who also lived in WA from time to time, possibly in Ocosta.

EMPEY:
I am continuing a family tree project for my brother-in-law who passed away in July 1997. He had done extensive research on his side of the family and was just beginning to start on our side when cancer took him from us. In memory of him, I am going to try and continue the research. Any help on information concerning the Empey family in Grays Harbor County would be greatly appreciated. I am just beginning and really don't know much of what I am doing. I guess this is the best way to learn. Thanks in advance..Ed Empey

EVANS:
I am searching for family info on Bob J. EVANS. Most of the recent history is known, but I am not able to trace the family before their arrival in Grays Harbor. Surnames are EVANS, SHEDD, ORCUTT, ARCHIE, WOODS. They came to the harbor in the late 1930s and settled in Aberdeen. The father, Earl died not long after, and later, the mother, Inez, married Max Grigsby. The family came from South Carolina. I am most interested in any info that will help trace their early roots, but any info is welcome and I will be glad to share any what I know.
