Date of Death, August 17, 1928:

Funeral services for E. E. Reid, 54, Elma man who died at an Aberdeen hospital Saturday, were held from the Whiteside chapel Monday afternoon.  The Elma aerie of Eagles of which the deceased was a member was in charge of the services with Rev. Wm. F. Roberts, pastor of the Baptist church, as officiating clergyman. 

Mr. Reid, who was employed by the Saginaw Timber Co. in their Vesta logging camp, was injured on August 2 in a camp accident and was taken Aberdeen hospital. 

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillie C. Reid, and two young sons at the family home, 1120 West Martin Street, Elma.  Other relatives live in North Carolina with the exception of a brother in Idaho. 

Burial was made in the Masonic cemetery.
