Had 8 children, 2 of thegirls were born in Grant County, in Trinadad. It is my understanding the WEBLEY Family lived in this area for sometime, but don't know who Mattie's parents were, any info on this family would be very helpful.

Colin R. Craig Wed Aug 6 15:31:11 1997 Researching Albert Craig buried in Ephrata and his wife Mary Hill Craig from Coulee City and William L. Box and his wife Bertha Maxwell Box also of Coulee City. Col. W.L. Box (auctioneer) lived in Grant County since Dec 25th 1900. he sold insurance and real estate and lived in the Coulee City and Almira area. He died Jan 10th 1930. The Boxs are buried in Almira along with Bertha's Parents Richard Maxwell and Cornelia Clarke Maxwell. These are my great Grand parents and I am trying to find death cert. to find out who their parents were. Also am looking for my grand mothers last Husbands family. They lived in Soap Lake and operated a Massage and Bath house. His name was Jack Webber. and she was Elizabeth Darrah Webber. I do have some pictures of Soap Lake and the Siloam sanitarium along with other early Soap Lake pictures that might be of some intrest to Soap Lake or Grant County.

He homesteaded near what is now Royal City Washington beside his daughter and son in law Alice and Louis NORTHCUTT. Lewis TOWNSEND was born in 1854 in Kentucky, he married Eodora DAVIS STOBER on March 9, 1879 in Coatsville, Missouri. Their children were Alice, Ed, Fred, Leila, Beulah, and Cora. Lila Mae Page Rose was born to Rufus Page and Oma Weeks Page. Lila had a brother George Page living in Indiana. Elvin Charles Rose was Born to Lila and Charles, Dec 5, 1905, Livermore Ia. She left my grandfather and his father when he was nine. Lila took her first two sons with her to Wa. Family members used to say that she left with her cousin by the name of Batterson. Would like to find any info on Lila Mae Page Rose, supposed to have died and been buried in Soap Lake Wa around 1922.

I believe it said Soap Lake. He was born May 10, 1900 in Everett, WA. and when he applied for a Soc. Sec. number in 1937, he was living in Seattle and working for the Alaka Steamship Co. His mother's maiden name was Maude McLEAN and he gives his father's name as Erwin DAVIE, although other documents give his name as Fred DAVIE. If there are any obits or cemetery records, funeral homes, etc., would appreciate advice on how to acquire those. This man was my mother-in-law's brother. They lost contact when very young as their mother died of T.B. and the father put her in an orphanage in Seattle in Jan. 1916 and Erwin Roscoe ran away. Any help much appreciated.
