Mrs. Frances Louie (Small) Fitzpatrick—Mrs. Fitzpatrick Dies in Her Sleep—Witnessed Much of Pasco's Development. Death came quietly to Mrs. P.P. Fitzpatrick Friday morning as she slept, ending a ten year period of ill health.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick, who came to Pasco, a bride in 1910, has been a colorful figure in the panoramic picture of the development of Pasco, adding the softness of her artist's touch to many of the hardships of pioneer days in Pasco.
Included in her education as a young woman Mrs. Fitzpatrick had training at the Chicago Art Institute and much of the happiness of her life came from the satisfaction of her work in oils and water color paintings. Her chief delight was to paint local scenes - the blue haze over the sage, or the majesty of the Wallula Gateway.
Another direction in which Mrs. Fitzpatrick's artistic ability expressed itself was in the line of writing and she derived an abiding happiness from this form of self expression, both in poems and short stories.
Fine sewing was another quietly enjoyed form of artistic expression in the life of Mrs. Fitzpatrick, who found much satisfaction in creating lovely things for her friends.
Born in Wisconsin. Frances Louise Small was born at Rice Lake, Wisconsin, March 9, 1883, having her education while still in the east.
August 10, 1910 she was married to P.P. Fitzpatrick, who with one daughter survives her.
At one time Mrs. Fitzpatrick taught in the local schools, finishing out a term in the seventh grade for a teacher who resigned.
Surviving Mrs. Fitzpatrick, other than her husband and daughter, are two sisters, Mrs. Mary Meservey and Mrs. Nellie Hudson, both of Eau Clair, Wisconsin and two brothers, Clarence Small of Whitefish, Montana and Isaac, of Eau Clair.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Lee-Perry Chapel with Reverend L.E. Obert of the Christian church in charge and with Mrs. R.R. Glen, a former student of Mrs. Fitzpatrick's, furnishing special music.
Interment was made in City View Cemetery.

Ernest Otis Fosher, age 74, of Pasco, passed away at his home January 31, 1996. He was born at Clinton, Minnesota, on March 4, 1922 to Otis and Loutisha Fosher.
Ernest raised his family in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He later moved to Salem, Oregon. In 1992, he moved to Pasco, WA, where he has since lived.
Ernest was a Veteran of Foreign Wars during WWII serving with the U.S. Army.
He was a retired truck driver, which he loved as an occupation.
Ernest also loved to play pinochle at the senior centers and was a member of Queen of Spades Garden Club.
He is survived by daughters, Betty O'dae, Wentworth, So. Dakota, Doris Fosher, Sioux Falls, S. Dakota, Lucille Affleck, Pasco, WA, Arlene Reinoehl, Renton, WA. He also is survived by sisters, nephews, brothers in law, sons in law, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be Friday, January 3, 1996, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Columbia Memorial Funeral Home, Pasco, WA.

Mary Alma Fugate, 99, of Richland, died Thursday in Richland.
She was born in Moundsville, W.V., and lived in Richland since 1963.
She was a homemaker.

Douglas Harmon Fahsholtz, 67, of Benton City, died Thursday in Benton City.
He was born in singlehill, Calif., and lived in the Tri-Cities area for two years.
He was a farmer and welder.

HERMISTON - Ralph H. Ferguson, 70, a truck driver, died at his home Wednesday. He was born in South Dakota and lived in the Hermiston-Boardman area since 1950.
Survivors include son, Keith Ferguson, Clackamas, Ore., daughter, Donna Blankenship, Hermiston; sister, Alice Jenkins, Sheridan, Wyo., and 10 grandchildren.
Graveside services are schedule at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Hermiston Cemetery. Burns Mortuary is in charge.

Robert Eaton Faust, of Kennewick, Wash., died August 27, 1993, at Vistavue Care Center.
He was born in Rochester, Minnesota, July 24, 1925.
He spent many years in Washington, D.C., close to the center of American history which he loved.
Later he moved to Denver, Colorado, to be with his parents.
He has been a resident of Kennewick, Wash., for the past 5 years.
Bob did his undergraduate and master's work at the University of Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Elsie Faust.
He is survived by two sisters, Ann Taylor, Kennewick, Wash., Sandy Perkins, Walnut Creek, Calif.; three nieces; two nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
A family memorial will be held in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Mrs. Carl (Helen Minerva) Frederickson, 51, of 70 W Octave St, Pasco, died Wednesday at Kennewick General Hospital.
She was born in Amite, La., and had lived in the Tri-Cities since 1950. She was a teacher at Emerson elementary school in Pasco, a member of the state and national education associations and the Delta Gamma society.
Survivors include sons Carl J in the Air Force at Carswell, Tex., Larry E of Concord, Calif., Howard, Tacoma, and Jeffrey Snider of Redmond; parents Mr and Mrs James Harris of Summit, Miss.; sisters Nevella Massey of Meridian, Miss., Evelen Adams of Virginia Beach, Va., and Barbara Fischer of New Orleans; brothers James F Harris Jr. of Minneapolis, William of Huntsville, Ala., Warren of Battle Creek, Mich., and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the United First Methodist Church of Pasco with the Rev John Finney and the Rev William Jones officiating, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Summit, Miss.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Bruce Lee funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Helen M Fredrickson fund of the Delta Kappa Gamma society, in care of Velma Parker, 1021 W Yakima St, Pasco.

Richard Buz Fegert, 54, Othello, died Saturday in Cle Elum. He was born in Elko, Nev and lived in the Columbia Basin since the 1940s.
He was a heavy equipment operator. Muscott Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
