The funeral for Thomas Dinney was held at Burbank on Monday afternoon, Rev. Lee Sadler officiating.
Mr. Dinney was born in the State of Missouri March 8th, 1846, passed away in Pasco March 3, 1923
age 76 years 11 months and 26 days. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Lauderdale of Burbank, ten grandchildren
and twelve great grandchildren. A grand daughter, Mrs. Newton resides in Pasco.

Mrs. Leona Dutcher, 79, Pasco, a former longtime Grandview resident, died Thursday in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
She was born in Alto, Mich., and lived in Grandview before moving to Pasco in 1971.
She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Pasco.
Survivors include her husband, Al Dutcher, Pasco; son, Maurcie Dutcher, Marysville; daughters Pat Hickman, Pasco, and Gloria Scholl, Grand Rapids, Mich.; also nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Former Mid-Columbia police officer and farmer Alger H. Dutcher, 89, of Pasco, died Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.
He was born in Caledonia, Mich., and worked as a Detroit police officer before moving to farm in the Yakima Valley in 1933. He stopped farming in the late 1940s and worked for the Toppenish Police Department, later taking a job with the Grandview Police Department. He retired in the mid-1960s and moved to Pasco.
He was a member of the Riverview Seventh-day Adventist Church in Pasco.
Survivors include nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona.
Visitation will be Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Riverview Heights Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Mueller's Chapel of the Falls, Kennewick.
Services will be announced by Bruce Lee Memorial Chapel.

Grace Jean Dore, 63, of Pasco died Friday at home.
Born in Spokane, she had lived in the Tri-Cities since 1959. She had worked at the Tri-City Country Club and Chiawana Park.

A misstep cost J.L. Derway his life about six o'clock Tuesday evening while walking the N.P. railroad bridge between Pasco and this city. Derway was coming this way and was walking the 6X6 timber which is bolted to the ties outside the rails. At the second pier from the Pasco side he caught his toe on one of the projecting bolts and plunged headlong over the side of the bridge. His body struck on the ballast at the foot of the pier, which is not submerged at this time of the year. Death was instantaneous.
The accident was witnessed by a stranger who was at the Pasco end of the bridge. The affair was reported to the Pasco authorities. The dead man's body was recovered and taken to Pasco where a coroner's inquest was held.
Derway, whose temporary home was in Seattle, had been in Kennewick for several days placing agencies for a patented clothes line pulley and taking orders for other mechanical appliances. He had rooms at the Denver Rooming House together with his partner W.H. Smith.
Derway's home is in Burlington, Vt., and he has a son living at Hartford, Conn., and other relatives in the East. He was about 55 years of age and a widower.

Larry Davis, 3, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Davis, 1107 Gillespie St., Richland, died yesterday at University Hospital in Seattle.
The boy had undergone 10 1/2 hours of open-heart surgery July 22 to correct a birth defect that resulted in the transposition of the aorta and pulmonary arteries.
Davis said the boy took a turn for the worse Wednesday due to a construction of the vessels in the lungs that cut down on the oxygen supply.
In addition to his parents, Larry is survived by two sisters, Vicky, 9, and Cathy, 7, and a brother, Gary, 5; his paternal grandparents, Mr.
and Mrs. George Davis, of Richland, and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Riley, of Walla Walla.

Larry G. Davis, 3, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rex S. Davis, of 1107 Gillespie St., Richland, died Sunday at University Hospital in Seattle.
He was born in Richland June 5, 1962.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Vicky and Cathy; a brother, Gary; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Richland, and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Riley, Walla Walla.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Cemetery with the Rev. Ronald Hummel officiating.
The family requests memorials be made to the Washington State Heart Fund, care of Mrs. G.R. McKinney, 511 Symons St., Richland.

Clemie T. Dendy, 90, of 635 S. Auburn, Kennewick, died Tuesday in Kadlec Medical Center.
She was born in Frost, Texas, and lived in the Tri-Cities six years.
She was a member of Northwest United Protestant Church in Richland.
Survivors include daughters Faye Russ, Kennewick, Lucille Higgins, Everett, Lorena Gholson, Richland; son Omar Dendy, Richland; sisters Callie Elliston and Bessie Smith, both in Texas; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Her husband William Dendy died in 1974.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Einan's Funeral Home.

Leona Mae Davis, 65, of Route 2, Byron Road, Prosser, died Monday in Kennewick General Hospital.
She was born in Colfax and lived in Prosser most all her life.
She was a member of the Christian Church; past member of Buena Grange.
Survivors include sons Bill, James and Don Deaton, all of Prosser; George Deaton, Sunnyside; daughters Florence Beightol, Prosser, Virginia Rowlewtte, Saudia Arabia, Lorrine Stainbrook, Springfield, Ore., brother John Bennett, Prosser; 16 grand-children; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday until 8 p.m.

Roland L. Dizmang, 69, Lincoln City, Ore., died Sunday in Palm Springs, Calif.
He was born in Blue Mound, Kan., and lived in Richland from 1955 to 1978.
He was retired assistant manager for Big Pierre Lumber Company.

Mr. J.H. (Joe) DeFord passed away Aug. 23, 1992. He was born Dec. 25, 1917, in Seattle, to Mr. & Mrs. Cylas DeFord.
He is survived by his wife Ann DeFord, son Garen, daughter JoAnn (DeFord) Holst, and son in law Henry, all of Kennewick, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a brother Everett DeFord, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son Ron, three months ago, his parents, three brothers, and one sister.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, Aug. 26, 1992, 2 p.m., at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitations will be Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Muellers Chapel of the Falls.

Mildred Mae Hollick Dennis, our precious wife, mother, grandmother and friend went home to our Lord on August 25, 1993, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She will live on in our hearts and memories always.
Mildred was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on June 21, 1920 to Phillip and Marjorie Hollick.
After graduating from Surrey (North Dakota) High School in 1938, she attended two years of college before joining the U.S. Navy Waves in 1943, serving in Washington, D.C. for two years.
She moved to Richland in 1947 to join her parents, and one year later, married Otis W. "Denny" Dennis. While raising two sons, she still found time to involve herself in many community activities.
During the Korean War, she worked for the Red Cross in Richland. She was also involved in the Cub Scouts as a den mother, and she was a past member of the VFW Auxiliary and the American Legion Post in Richland.
She was the past State President of the Marine Corps League Auxiliary, and was the first Lady Elks President of the Richland BPOE 2339.
She was a tireless volunteer for the American Cancer Society, and worked for a number of years at its Pasco Thrift Shop.
She retired in 1980 after serving for 18 years as the Credit Manager for the Bon Marche.
She and Denny moved to Kennewick in 1964 to enjoy their retirement years.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Otis Dennis; sons, Richard and his wife, Allyson, Gary and his wife, Lori; granddaughter, Dianna Jo; grandson, Billy; sisters, Phyllis Hollick, Wanda Hollick Reed, Betty Hollick Valentine, Joan Hollick Glover, Jean Hollick Proutz; and brothers, Peter Hollick and James Hollick.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillp and Marjorie Faults Hollick.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 30, 1993, at Einan's Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery in Richland.
Visitors may call on Saturday, August 28, from 8 a.m. to noon, Sunday, August 29, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday August 30, from 8 a.m. to noon.

James A. Davis, 77, Kahlotus, died Tuesday in Walla Walla General Hospital.
He was born in Drumright, Okla., and was a resident of this area for 16 years.
He was a retired Army serviceman.

Robert W Davis, 68, of Kahlotus, died Tuesday, February 16, at Kadlec Medical Center. He was born September 26, 1919, in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
He married Mildred E Stumbaugh June 1, 1937, in Pawnee, Oklahoma. Robert had served in the Army and Air Force during WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred, of Kahlotus; one daughter, Elen Parsley, Othello; six sons, Robert Davis Jr of Sedro Wooley, Washington, James Davis, Winchester, Indianna (sic), Donald Davis, Othello, Kenneth Davis, Moses Lake, Richard Davis, Pomeroy, Washington and Jerry Davis of Kahlotus; two brothers, James Davis of Kahlotus and Clarence Davis of Las Vegas, Nevada: 33 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held Thursday, February 18, 1988, in Kahlotus, Einan’s Funera (sic) Home is in charge of arrangements.

Virginia Beth Duncan, 53, died Tuesday, February 16, at her home in Richland. She was born September 18, 1934, in Hamlin, Kansas. Virginia moved with her family in August 1943 to Richland, where she graduated from Columbia High School in 1953. She married her husband, Murray L Duncan, in August 1955 in Richland. She had been living in California and moved back to Richland two years ago and had been a member of Richland Assembly of God Church.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Murray L Duncan; mother, Helen Smith; two sons, Kim and Gary Duncan, and one sister, Ferol Lukins, all of Richland; one brother, Larry Smith, West Richland, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 19, at Einan’s Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Richland.

Ruby J Dodd, 75, of Aquila, Ariz., a former Tri-Cities resident, died Saturday in Phoenix, Ariz.
She was born in Hebron, Neb., and enjoyed sewing, gardening and crafts.
Survivors include husband Allen; daughter Viola MacDonald, Pasco; sister May Thompkins, Redwood City, Calif.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Saturday in Coffey’s Columbia Gardens under the direction of Greenlee Funeral home.
