Phyllis Griffith, firstname.lastname@example.org , writes: I have researched the area from the top of Knapp's Hill, the Entiat Valley, and down along the Columbia River for the past 6 - 8 years.
I have a 5200+ card file on past and present residents. I am researching for the eventual writing of the history of Entiat and Entiat Valley.
I have done a lot of newspaper film research. I have copied and mounted obituaries from the old Wenatchee Advance - fragmentary issues from 1891 - 1902, the Wenatchee Republic - 1903 - 1913, and Wenatchee Daily World - 1905 - 1911. I am presently working on 1912. Copies of these obituaries can be found in the Wenatchee genealogy library.
I have a listing of the burials of the Entiat Cemetery, begun around 1900, with copies of obituaries of approximately 60% of burials.
